To provide a warm and friendly year round Facility for:

• Hockey Players to develop Skills and maximize Conditioning
  and Training to get their game to the next level
• Children and Adults to learn basic skating fundamentals
• Community to enjoy leisurely, fun Recreational Activities

About Us

McKinleys Open Ice is owned and operated by Craig, Carol, and Gary McKinley, along with on ice support from daughter Michele (McClare). The "McKinleys" are well known for their hockey and skating involvements in the Fredericton area spanning many years. Most notably, Carol and Gary played instrumental roles in the development and establishment of the local Midget AAA "Canadiens" Hockey Program.

McKinley’s Open Ice is a multiple use Facility located at Kingswood. Here are some of the Programs offered:

• Individual and Team Hockey Skills Programs
• Wednesday Afternoon Program
• Summer Training and Conditioning Programs
• Pre Hockey Program
• Learn to Skate Programs for ages 3 and over
• Adult Learn to Skate
• Pre School and Day Care Activity where children learn to skate in a fun environment

• 3 on 3 Hockey Leagues (Adults and Children)
• Ringette Team Practices
• 3 on 3 Ball Hockey Leagues (Spring and Fall) All Ages
